Abuse exposed

Hi, my name is Mikie and I’m a 49 year old woman who has been through a lot. My psychiatrist told me to write about the pain. But, I think you should know a little about me to understand my story. I was born in Chicago the 4th child of 5 to impoverished parents. We left Illinois when I was a few months old. Between birth and 13 years old we moved constantly. We lived in Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas and Georgia. I met my first husband in Georgia when I was 15. We had 3 children by the time I was 19. I was young and in love with an alcoholic. The first time he hit me I was 16. I left him and moved home with my parents when I was 22. I was 24 when I met my current husband. I have 1 bonus child with him and we have 1 child together. Yes, 5 kids altogether. That’s the boring short story of who I am. I will tell you the tragic in between in stories to come.
